What you'll do

Your day is led by Dan of That's The Beer Talking, a Certified Cicerone and International Beer Judge who pours a variety of the freshest, hand-picked beers he can get hold of and shares plenty of commentary on Lewes and its brewing history as you go. Across the afternoon you will visit three of the town's breweries, with tastings included at each stop. Along the way you will get a feel for Lewes itself, whose lively independent brewing scene sits happily alongside centuries of local heritage.

Harvey's Brewery. Call in at one of the names most closely associated with brewing in Lewes for a visit and a tasting, with your guide on hand to talk you through what is in the glass.

Abyss Brewing Co. Head to one of the town's independents for a behind-the-scenes look at how the beer is made and a tasting of what they have on.

Beak Brewery. Round out the tour at another of Lewes's modern independents, sampling their beers alongside stories and insight from your guide.
