What you'll do

Heist Brew Co began brewing in Clowne, Derbyshire back in 2018 and swiftly earned a reputation for bold, modern beers across a huge range of styles. The team has since moved to Sheffield, expanding their fermentation capacity and opening a brilliant taproom, and they now brew flat out to keep the taps flowing. Once a week they throw open the doors to show you exactly how it's all done, and there's no better place to get properly acquainted with the beers.

Your guide walks you through the brewing process, from the raw ingredients that go into the mash to the finished beer resting in the tanks — a proper behind-the-scenes look at a working brewery in full flow. When the tour wraps up, you'll take a seat in the taproom for three fresh thirds of Heist beer, poured straight from the tap so you're tasting it at its very best. The third-pint measures let you compare a spread of styles rather than committing to a single pint, which makes this a great way to get to know a brewery you might only have met on a shop shelf.
