Historic London Pub Tour

Approximately 2.5 hoursLondon

About this experience

London has one of the world's great pub cultures, and some of these houses have been trading for more than 400 years. This tour takes in the hidden gems, the literary haunts, the pubs with a nefarious story behind them, and the ones pouring both traditional cask and new-wave craft beer.

Groups of up to ten are guided personally around four classic pubs, starting at St Paul's and working through the City. You'll drink in the site of a former medieval Dominican friary, sit by an open fire in a 16th-century pub rebuilt after the Great Fire of London, visit the pub where the Crown Jewels were kept safe during two World Wars, and finish in the luxurious splendour of an old gin palace.

Most of what you'll see isn't in the guidebooks.
